How to spend a CRAP TON of $$$ without getting murdered by your hubby!

Most of you ladies already know how this works, but I thought I’d let all my newly-married friends in on the process. It doesn’t take very long to master.
  1. Go shopping with a friend.
  2. Find overpriced outfit and fall in love. Friend says it makes your boobs look bigger, your butt look smaller and your legs look longer. Have you been working out?
  3. Purchase outfit. And coordinating accessories. Aaaaand those new heels (they were 40% off, you savvy shopper, you).
  4. Part ways with friend. Drive home alone in your car. In the silence and solitude, reality suddenly hits….recall how your husband reacted to your last big purchase.
  5. Sweat profusely.
  6. Remember your fail-safe plan and immediately relax.
  7. Stop by the store and pick up your husband’s favorite drink. Actually, make that two, because you’re that thoughtful.
  8. Make it home before your husband does. Leave all shopping bags in your trunk except the one with the shoes. You will be using them as a prop later on.
  9. Go inside, set husband’s drink next on the side table next to his favorite chair. Turn on the football game.
  10. Slip into your fabulous new heels.
  11. Husband comes home and is delighted by your thoughtfulness. Ask him if he noticed your new shoes. Tell him that they were on sale. Tell him his muscles look bigger today. Tell him he’s your favorite.  BUTTER HIM UP, GOOD.
  12. Let him watch the game and enjoy his drink.
  13. Now quick, while he’s distracted, run back out to your car and get all the shopping bags. Sneak them inside and hide them in the VERY back corner of your closet, under that old ratty blanket. Casually toss another blanket over it. Make it look natural, and like it’s been untouched for months.
  14. Next week, wear your new shirt. The following week, prance around the house in the skirt. Subtly and gradually introduce your husband to each item you purchased, but NEVER be the first one to point anything out.
If asked, “Is that new?” simply reply, “This thing?? Honey, I’ve had it forever."

Things I didn't realize before I had a baby!

•The power of Grahm Crackers. Those things can keep a kid quiet and entertained for as long as the supply in your diaper bag lasts.
•Sleeping in? BAHAHAHAHA… oh, that’s a good one.
•From the moment you become a parent you automatically possess the ability to stumble out of bed at 3am and change a crying baby’s dirty diaper at a speed so lightning fast, sometimes you can’t even remember doing it the next morning.
•Carrots, sweet potatoes and peaches will turn your baby’s nose orange.
•How packing a diaper bag every day gets really, really old, but it eventually becomes one of those things you can do in your sleep.
•It isn’t possible to be both lazy and a good parent.
•Censoring bad words is an art, and one that takes quite a long time to master.
•Your tolerance for people who waste your time will EVAPORATE.
•You will get pooped on and somehow still want to kiss the person who did it.

.:SpLiSh SpLaSh:.

Playing in the tub is fun
its what I like to do.
I dunk my toys one by one
and splash around too.
Then mom leans in the tub
"Its time to wash your hair."
Mom has to scrub and scrub
but I don't really care.
Getting clean is fun for me
but I fight it every time.
After all I am a boy
I kinda like my grime.

Mason LOVES his bathtime! Whenever he gets grumpy & fussy we just stick him in the tub & he's a happy little boy again!! :)

5 Months!!

Our baby is already 5 months old....it's so crazy!! I love to look back on our pictures & see how much he has changed. He's now rolling ALL over the place, he tries to scoot himself forward, but no luck with that yet, he just turns himself around. Mason can hold his own bottle & that is VERY convienent! He's always laughing & smiling...we just wish the bottom teeth would finish coming thru so we don't have to keep getting up with him all night. I still take him to work but it's yime for a change!! We need a sitter....
Mason has started sleeping a lot longer in the mornings and it's soo nice because it gives me time to get ready for work & weekends are even better because we get to sleep in...till at least 8:30...SWEET!
                                                         We love you Mason!!

Mandee's Run!

Mandee Geary had a heart transplant years ago & started an awareness run years ago. Alex has been dating her for quiet awhile now & so we all ran/walked  it for her. We decided to pull out the stroller & push Mason in it. It was fun, too bad the weather was HORRIBLE!! It was sooo cold & snowed the whole time! Of course about a 1/2 hour later it quit snowing & was a nice sunny day!
We love you Mandee!!
