Finally made a decision!! I decided to not get the second shot, and I actually feel totally relieved so it must be the right thing! (I'm hoping anyway)
I got another call from Pharmacy Solutions saying they need to send the shot out & can't without getting paid first & if they didn't send it now it would be cancelled. So I went up to Dr. Noorda's office & chatted with him. This is definently the right thing to be stopping it. They are putting me on http://www.loloestrin.com/index.jsp (norethindrone acetate & ethinyl estradiol tablets) for 3 months to wind me down off the Lupron. Which, I didn't know I was going to have to do to begin with, so that would have been three more months of not trying to get pregnant & I totally hadn't planned on it. So I hope the next 3 months fly by! But we'll see. I hope I start getting rid of some of these symptoms soon cause i'm going crazy & don't feel like myself!
Seriously, I feel so relieved. I've been stressing myself out for a good 2/3 weeks on not doing it then talking myelf back into it. So I KNOW this is the right thing. Now just got to get through this & enjoy my life again.

Summertime is here!
We LOVE summertime in the Hyer home! We try to get out as much as possible & when we can't, we've got some awesome friends & family, oh & cute nieces to keep us entertained :)
(STOLE THIS FROM CHELSIE...SORRY but it was SOO cute!)
haha this is awesome cause they have the same faces, outifts & feet crossed!
LOVES his grandpa!
& his uncle Jordan
Rant on doing Lupron!
Here's a rant on my Lupron Shot I've been doing; I've been trying to bottle up all the emotions about it & things keep happening so I can't get the second shot & so I just need to VENT it out! I started the shot in April to shrink my fibroid & stop the endometreosis from spreding, and I am totally hating it! The symptoms at first weren't too bad, but I am definently getting the worse symptoms!
Here's a few:
Hot flashes
Cold sweats at night
No sleep (i wake up from 3-5 every night now!)
My body just aches & aches! Especailly my joints!
My teeth are now hurting like crazy
Emotional
Headaches
Anxious
Loosing weight cause of stress
Bruises like crazy...I look like I've been beat up!
Things I have to do while going through the process:
Take hormone pills
Take calicum pills 4 times a day (cause my bones at 10% weaker from the lupron)
Take fish oil & other vitamins
Take lortab
Take ambien to help sleep
At least twice a month go in for checkups
I quit the hormones pills cause they were making me crazy! But it is not good to be taking all that stuff! I'm sick of it!
So with that said, my mind keeps playing games with me! I will go one day and say "in August only 3 more months & we can't start trying to have a kid again!" It makes me excited, then next minute I think how can this go any longer? How much worse will the sympotoms get? I'm still hurting & am I wasting time doing it and is it even helping?! The way this works is they send out my first shot, I get it & when the next one is due they send the next. Well I missed the call to get it sent & when I called back they had cancelled it. So I had to get a new perscripstion for it. They call me today & say there ready to send it out which is great! She says we need you to pay you portion of the cost today. When I set all this up I was responsible for 30% of the cost the rest insurance cover. So for the shots it $582.00, well that's what I thought anyway. That's per shot. I don't have money to pay over $1100 for a shot right now! My car needs a new transmission, we just signed papers to finsish our basement so I really don't feel like I can put out the extra money right now, we could borrow it but I don't feel right about it because my car should be fixed first so my in laws can have there car back. The other problem is if I wait till I get paid again it'll be past the due date of my shot & they won't let you do it any later than your supposed to get it. Where do I go from here?
I know things will work out the way there supposed to but this is getting hard. We've been trying for a year to get pregnant. It should not be this hard. It's supposed to be easy right? It was with Mason. We weren't wanting a baby at that point & he was a suprise. Nic told me that Mason was obiously ment to be especially if we can't get pregnant. Which I know is true, it's just starting to get really frustrating.
With all that said, I'm waiting for the call back today from my Dr. to see where to go from here. I think I wanna be done with the shot, I don't want the second one. Too much has happened with my back and forward on wanting to do it that everytime I decide to stay on it, something happens to make it hard to get the shot. Is it a sign or what? This is a hard decision!
End of rant....I couldn't keep it in any longer!

4-Wheeling
Growing up we spent every weekend dirtbiking up Logan Canyon. Since Nic & I got married I think we've only been 3 times; never with Mason. I had mentioned to my dad we would LOVE to go up sometime & we finally got the chance. We took up a Rhino & 2 fourwheelers. It worked out great cause we just strapped Mase's carseat in the back seat of the Rhino & off we went!
(Before & after)
Mason had a BLAST! He smiled and jabbered the whole time. It ended up being a 5 hour ride which none of us planned on so we were happy he did so good.
Mase & Grandpa
(Mason loves him! He follows him everywhere and always makes sure he's right by his side)
The View from on top of Mnt. Logan
It was a long ride but we had so much fun. We had invited The Low's over for dinner at 7 and got home 6, had to shower & cook, but we did it! Sorry if it wasn't very good tho guys!!

4th of July
The 4th of July is always a crazy day for us! It's my moms birthday & there is so much going on out in Lewiston with The Hyers that we split the day with both families. We went up to the stadium on the 3rd to watch the fireworks & listen to Kansas. Mase did really good! He danced to the music, flirted with the girls behind us & kept feeding everyone popcorn whether we wanted it or not.
Here's my cool parents...rocking out to Kansas...they sound as old as they are!
Jordan & Shelby, Jesse & Randi
It was fun having the whole family there & having everyone get along. Things have changed so much from where they were last 4th of July. So glad that things are where they are now.
Mason was so excited for each firework to go off. His whole face lit up! But half way thru he started rubbing his eyes & made himself "comfy" on the cement floor with his blanket. Never fell asleep but just wanted to lay there.
On the fourth we went to Lewiston for the parade & rodeo. It was hot, and Mason got onrey...if you can't tell from Nic's face. We took a quick nap in between Lewiston & going down to my moms. Good thing cause Mason was a lot happier. We cooked dutch oven, did fireworks & played in the water. We are so glad both of our families live close so we can spend the holidays with everyone!

Summer Projects
After a LONG day of work & grocery shopping, I came home to this. We were expecting a large pile of gravel, but not for 2 more days. This is our new summer project, extending our driveway & laying down a sprinkler system.
Mason thought the pile of gravel was the greatest thing ever!
He also like to help us. When he saw us shoveling into the wheel barrow, he had to get handfuls of rocks to add throw into it. He also has a new fetish with our broom & mop...as you can see from the picture, it's time to buy a new mop.
Jordan & Jesse came by to help do the driveway, so glad because it was a big job!
Here's the finished product..for now. Eventually it'll be concrete, not gravel but it works for now & gives us lots more room to park cause we had a dinky little driveway!

Halloween Weekend
This was Mason's first Halloween & I'm pretty sure he cared less about it, but it was fun to dress him up & go show him off! We had a fun weekend before Halloween. All of Nics family went to the Hyers for dinner & Mase got to play with all his cousins. He loved trying to find them buried in the leaves.

We love when we have Kamryn & Morgan around because we can give them Mason the whole time & not worry about a thing. They LOVE him & are the best babysitters ever!
We stopped at the park & took some pictures of Mason playing in the leaves. He is the biggest punk, he was so happy & laughing in the car, we get there & could hardly get a smile. So we're lucky we got the 5 pictures we did.
We have pumpkins on our front porch & Mase thought that the top coming off was the most interesting thing in the world. He got it off & tried & tried his hardest to put it back. This is the end result, he did pretty dang good!
Halloween finally came & we got to dress Mason up as a Monkey! (We only had a costume waiting to be worn for the past 2 months) We made some cookies & took him around to close friends & family to show him off. He wasn't thrilled about the costume but he liked all the attention!
The Chargers were playing Halloween & so of course we had to bust out the jersey...this is Mase doing his "touch down". Mase & I were super tired and went to bed at 9, Nic stayed up to watch the game. They lost...not going to lie, i'm glad we were in bed & fast asleep! Happy Halloween Mase! It was fun!

Muddy Child!
Sometimes I swear, life is NEVER going to slow down. All we've done this summer is work on putting a yard in & it looks like we haven't done anything...it's starting to make me crazy!! We had mud all over the driveway & was washing it off...Mason wanted to be in that mud so bad so we finally gave in...& this is the results...
Last week I had a bridal shower for Ashely...thanks to everyone who came! I can't believe she's getting married in 2 days!! It's been so fun getting to know her a lot the past year since she's lived with my parents! We're so happy for her!
Mason update: he's now 81/2 months old & still into everything! His favorite place, still the bathroom. I've always got to keep the door closed. So that's when he goes to the next best place, the drawer under the stove. It doesn't matter how many toys you buy him, he loves that drawer more than a fat kid loves cake!
He stands up against everything and walks around the furniture. Mason has a new bruise every other day; he thinks he can let go of the chair he standing against...it never ends good. He's getting so funny, he just jabbers & he's finally starting to laugh out loud more, He used to get shy and cover his mouth so you couldn't see him laugh or smile but its starting to change.
On Sunday we had Cailen, Justin & Jess over for the Chargers Game, good thing they won so I had a happy husband the rest of the day!! I forgot to buy a roast the night before so sunday morning I ran to the store to get one, came home to Mason & Nic both in the Chargers gear, Chargers blankets hung over the railing as decorations, footballs on the floor....he was a little excited! It was like watching a little kid on Christmas, he was so happy for the game!! It's going to be a looonnnngg season :)
While i'm talking about football, Nic's birthday is coming up & i'm looking for a shadow box so i can put a jersey, tickets & a few things in it from the game we went to like the picture below, anyone know where to but a big one for cheap? Hobby Lobby is expensive!! Our FB & Blog has both our names on it but we all know he doesn't know how to use it or even care so let me know if you see anything!!

It gets easier
I was getting my hair done by Chrishel (she does an awesome job btw!!) & saw Kelszi's cute new baby girl Luxi! She's adorable!! We were talking about how she sleeps & it made me think how things have gotten easier with Mason...but harder at the same time!HARDER: Sleep. Your baby will stop spending 95% of his time sleeping. You'll be consumed with getting him to sleep & keeping him asleep.
EASIER: Changing diapers. Eventually your baby will not go thru 12-14 diaprers & 1/2 a dozen outfits a day. He might even sleep thru the night with just one diaper!
HARDER: Changing diapers. Once your baby starts eating solid foods, the urge to gag while changing a dirty diaper may become uncontrollable. Plus, the baby is no longer willing to lie on his back for 10 seconds and will try and get away violently, most the time they do!
I've learned alot the past 8 months with Mason, things you should & should not do! Like,
If you accidentally wake a sleeping baby, never make eye contact! Seriously, It’s more dangerous than looking directly at the sun.
If choosing between the newest & coolest toy & a random household object, the baby will always pick the spatula, remote or the toilet-paper tube.
Don’t care that Dad is the favorite. That way, when they are crying early in the morning they cry for Dad, and Mom can stay in bed
And the list can go on & on....! Mason is now 8 months old & into everything! He's sure getting a fun personality! Mason loves attention, he's always trying to get it & usually does. The video below is of Mason after being asleep in bed for 20 mins tops...we go thru this for about an hour every night. We just let him bounce around till he falls asleep!

Blessing Mason
On Sunday we blessed Mason...he's usually a VERY happy baby in the mornings & is so easy going, well not before the blessing! He was so cranky all morning. We got him in his car seat & headed to the church, he was being good until sacrament started...then he started to throw a fit. You could tell he was just tired so I took him out to try &get him to sleep before the blessing...it was working until a little boy decided to slam a door shut. There was no winning. So I brought him to Nic & as soon as Nic stood up to take him up & bless him, he quit his crying. He was SOO good during the blessing, he didn't make a sound!! It was a miracle!
Nic did such an awesome job blessing him!! He is such a good dad & husband! I'm so thankful for him & his testimony! We are so lucky he holds the preistood & is able to bless him! Thanks for all you do Nic :)
